NASA Procurement Awards (12/2008)--For the upcoming Procurement Training Forum, Center Procurement Officers were requested to submit their NASA Procurement Award selections. The award call also allowed Centers to add categories they determined key, within reason. We added two, which were accepted--the Unsung Heroes and the Rookies (less than 2 years with our organization) of the year The NASA Procurement Awards are the highest procurement honor awards given by the Agency. They recognize those individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the procurement effort throughout the year. Contrary to the past process, this year all Center award winners have been accepted by Headquarters as the "best of the best," and will be formally recognized during an award ceremony at the Forum. I am pleased to announce our FY08 Procurement Honor Award winners! Congratulations to all. Val.
